Philip's Keyboard Guide to SlickEdit (with Vim emulation)
« on: April 11, 2012, 10:48:39 PM »
Hello, all. I am a new SlickEdit user, having started using it just last month thanks to my employer's generosity. To ease the learning curve, I've made myself an index card with shortcuts. Then I thought to expand it and share it with the community.

I've made it available here: http://www.qnan.org/~pmw/slickedit/

I hope you find it useful.

Most importantly, I'd like this to help me (and others) discover shortcuts/features I've missed. So please let me know if I can enhance the keyboard guide in any way, both for beginners and experts.

My keyboard guide for SlickEdit assumes you already know Vim, so it primarily covers SlickEdit-specific functionality, with only a section dedicated to Vim itself.

I made another one-page reference, but this time focusing on Vim.  Vim is a great text editor: it's powerful, ubiquitous, light-weight, and free.  I think learning it is a good investment, and SlickEdit with Vim emulation a great working environment.

I hope you find the Vim reference useful: http://www.qnan.org/~pmw/vim
