You can start another instance of SlickEdit with the +new option. Example:
vs.exe +new
You can enter the following command on the SlickEdit command line for more info on SlickEdit startup options:
help Invocation Options
(To activate the SlickEdit command line, hit ESC in most emulations, or click on the SlickEdit message line.)
