Turn off XML validation.
« on: July 28, 2014, 08:22:03 pm »
I know this question has been asked and answered several times in this forum but I'm not able to turn off XML validation.  When I open a pom.xml file, Slickedit tries to validate the syntax.  I would like to turn this off.  Most of the answer say to go to Tools.Options.Languages.XML.Text Languages.XML.Formatting and un-check the "Auto validate on open".  I have done this with NO change in behavior. I am using Slickedit 2013.  All help appreciated.
Thanks,
Spence

Are you sure still it's still validating when you have the option off? If it's validating on open, the Output tab will show errors if there are any. Put <> in a test file to see if you get errors in the Output tab.
