"Export All Options" not working
« on: August 20, 2014, 11:44:08 PM »
Just installed Windows v19 x64 Beta 1 on Windows 8.1 x64 (all current updates). I renamed my existing v18 profile folder, to be on the safe side with a first beta and to start with a fresh profile (I'll be more adventurous with later betas.)
First thing I noticed: the Tools-->Options-->Export/Import Options-->Export All Options button does not export any zip file at all, instead an error dialog "No Options could be exported".
If I set up a new Options group that includes everything, then the export to a zip file proceeds as expected; a subsequent entire import of that options file also seems to work.

same issue.
Options group with all selected hung the entire SE. Had to remove some of the language definitions.

I reproduced the "No options could be exported" issue and will be looking into it.

@yakir:  Was this using a migrated config?  Sounds like you had some custom languages.

It was a migrated config.

However all the languages that I needed to delete were ones that I hadn't used or configured in any way.

@yakir:  Another question - did you do this by clicking Export All Options, or by exporting a group that contained everything?  If it's the latter, could you post the file named "optionsExportGroups.xml" in your configuration directory (preferably the v18 one)?

The original "No options could be exported" issue has been fixed for the next beta.

Thank you for reproducing it (and the rapid announced fix for the next beta), I was wondering if it was just something about my setup.

Replying to Sandra.

The export all gave me the same result as the OP (No options ...)
I then proceeded with defining a group when I ran into the trouble.
Wii try to send the xml later (different computer)
