Floating edit windows and focus
« on: August 21, 2014, 04:32:24 am »
Run slick.
Create 2 edit tabs.
Drag one of them loose to create a floating editor window.

Click in the edit window in the main Slick window.
Click in the floating editor window and move the cursor around with the arrows.

Type Alt-F N <ENTER>
to create a new empty buffer.
Note that the new buffer appears in the floater, yet the editor in the main window gets keyboard focus.

Sometimes the new window gets focus, but I've not nailed down the repro steps exactly.

I was able to reproduce this every time on Windows. Not all platforms can support this. Mac, Unbuntu with Unity, and Windows can support this.

gui_open has the same problem. These will be fixed in the next beta.
