The git commit history is supposed to be sorted such that the most youngest revision shows up at the top, the same way it is presented for CVS.  This avoids having to scroll down to the bottom of the history list to see the most recent entry. That was supposed to be fixed in v19.
Also, the commit date is now again missing from the commit details. It was broken in early v18, then hot-fixed, now broken again.

CVS displayed the oldest version at the top.  I think the issue is what is selected (it should scroll to the bottom automatically).

I'll look into the missing date.
