Files Tool Window does NOT show all of the open Buffers
« on: August 26, 2014, 11:42:41 pm »
It seems that sometimes the Buffer Tab of the Files Tools Window doesn't show all of the open files, like its somehow gets out of synch.

I can still get to these "other" files using the Files Tab Bar.

If I close one of the files which isn't showing up and then reopen it, it shows up in the "Buffers" window ... so its not a filter issue.

Every now and then, all of the "missing" files will just show back up ... e.g. during my experimenting to write this up, I opened a file from the "Search Results" window and all of the other open files showed up in the "Buffers" list.

Anyone else seeing this?

Using SE 2013 (18.0.1.2 64-bit) on Windows 7 x64.

And I'm guessing I'm don't have any SE patches.

Unfortunately I can't include pictures since work is on a closed network ... and I haven't found the magic sauce to replicate ... but it happens often enough I though that others in the community might have the same observations.
