Focus Under Mouse problem
« on: September 05, 2014, 12:49:21 PM »
Slick edit often loses focus in Oracle Linux 6.4 with Focus Under Mouse policy when I popup a dialog box.  For example, if I press Ctrl-J to popup the "Go to line" dialog box and type in a number and press enter, slickedit will have lost focus and I'll have to click on the window in order to start editing again.  This happens almost every time.  The only exception I've found is if I position the mouse in the middle of the screen so that it will be under the "Go to line" dialog box when it comes up, then focus returns to the editing window normally.  Not only does slickedit lose focus, but no other window gains focus.  This happens in other dialog boxes too, but this is an easy to reproduce example.

This has been happening for the last few versions of slickedit.  I opened a ticket with version 18, but thought I would also add it here.

I'm using Oracle Linux 6.4 with Focus Under Mouse policy.  I'm sure it would be the same with Redhat Linux 6.4.

Reproduced. No idea how to fix it yet.
