Beta-2: Still unable to dock tool windows
« on: September 05, 2014, 02:45:56 PM »
I am trying to setup environment where most of the tool windows unpinned, and only defs window pinned to the right side of the window. I was able to unpin the window from left side, but I cannot pin it to the right. The window flickers with grey and I don't see any guides. I was able to do that with class tool window. I saw and reported this problem in Beta-1.
Ubuntu 14.04, SE 64bit.

I am on Ubuntu 12.04 and have not seen this. To be clear, you are talking about drag-drop of the tool-window to the right side. When you "unpin" a tool-window, that generally means to auto-hide (slides out/in) on that side.

I'll have to set up a 14.04 vm and see if I can reproduce it.

Do you have any "tweaks" set up I need to know about (focus-follows-mouse, etc.)?

I have CompizConfig settings manager. I did few changes from default configuration - enabled Viewport Switcher and Shift Switcher.
