Beta2: Assorted shelving problems

Some issues found while experimenting with shelves.

• I could not figure out where to select the shelves location. I don't want them under /Users/....
• Shelving doesn't work if the workspace root is different from the where the source code is. Apparently a shelf can only have one root
• Version Control->Open Shelf and selecting a shelf yielded the git->Git error dialog (see attached)
  
• Version Control->add to shelf and selecting a shelf generates an error that it cannot open it, complete with the correct path of the shelf (see attached)
  
• The dialog that pops up after creating a shelf could use a better layout (see attached)

1. Right now, the shelves really want to go to the config directory.  I'll look into this.

2. I'll have to contemplate this and see what I can do.
