For now, I decided to turn off symbolic link support for Windows. It was on for directories only. It can be turned on with a new +ssymlinkdirs option (directories only) or the old +ssymlink option (for directories and files). We may turn this back on later. I've put in some way better optimizations for symbolic links so performance should not be a significant problem any more. In my testing on our network, it's less than a 3% hit. However, it could be more of a cost with a really slow network.
