Win7x64 B3: Paste on selected block inserts
« on: September 11, 2014, 04:57:12 PM »
I am using the vim emulation. If I copy a block of text and then highlight a different block of text that I want to replace by pasting, the text is inserted instead. To highlight the block I press Shift-V and move the cursor down over each line. Then to paste, I press 'p'.

This works correctly in 18.0.1.2

This is fixed but not fixed for beta 4. VIM emulation has been changed quite a bit to work better with non-VIM commands and selections. I'm not surprised that there's a bug like this. If this is the only one, that would be great ;D

If anything seems wrong, please let us know.

Thanks Clark. Glad to hear that VIM is getting attention. I'll be on the look-out for any issues.
