Tool windows and floating windows - unpredictable
« on: September 22, 2014, 04:45:19 pm »
Continuing with experimenting with the "Open" tool window.
I found a case where after the "Open" tab closed on both floating windows, then the next time I did view->ToolWindows->Open, Slick opened a new floating tool window with the standard toolwindow layout (no editor window).

Closing that window, and running ToolWindows->Open again resuilts in a floating "Open" tool window - no other tool windows attached.

The behavior here is pretty unpredictable - I can't tell what is going to happen when I try to open the "Open" tool window.

Pretty bizarre. If you do a 'set-var def-mdi-close-if-no-child-windows' what is the value? The default is 1.

Fixed in the next build. See my other post for more explanation:
