B6: Floating find-symbol
« on: October 02, 2014, 10:01:54 pm »
As previously reported, a floating find-symbol window doesn't remember its state from one open to the next.

Another problem: The "Search For" box come up with no text selected, so when you start typing it adds to the text instead of replacing.
This is annoying, different than it used to be, and different than when this window is docked.

I'll look into that and see what can be done.

I see the same problem (on Win7 64).  The window appears briefly at the size it had when last used, but immediately resets to the default.

Whilst on the subject of this window, a feature to reorder the columns in the list of symbol matches would be helpful.  I'd like to be able to re configure it to display symbol, filename, line number, then path.  The paths are often so long that the line number can't be seen.

The sizing issue has been fixed in the next build.
