B6: Why was the view menu hotkey changed from V to I?

This is pretty minor, but I guess I was used to the old hotkey being 'V', when accessing the file toolbar. Can I change it to be 'V' just like in the old behavior (instead of i, as seen in the picture)?

What emulation are you using?

That's really odd then. Is there a way to change this?

Check if you have a key binding for Alt+V? That would cause the underlying logic to choose "i" instead of "V". Try unbinding it if you do.

Yes, strangely ALT+V was bound to copy-to-clipboard. Unbinding it restored the hotkey back to V (&View). Yet, I have ALT+W for cut-word, and it doesn't change the menu shortcut for &Window.

The logic for view and tools is different than the rest due to emulations. We also support customizing the hot key letter manual with the menu editor.
