File Extension Setup help requested
« on: February 06, 2007, 12:43:07 pm »
In the Java project I am working on, we use a munging technique that parses and converts *.in files into regular files.  Two examples of these .in files are:  *.xml.in, *.properties.in

Inside SlickEdit, I would like to set up two file extensions:  one for xml.in referring to xml and one for properties.in which will be set up as a Java properties file.

I tried adding xml.in as a file extension referring to xml but when I edit an xml.in file, it is not treated as an xml file.

Is it possible inside SlickEdit 11 to set up a file extension that contains dot characters?
