SlickCMacroBestPractices.pdf out of date
« on: October 16, 2014, 03:59:38 PM »
I'm still trying to get my head around writing my own Slick-C macros, so I keep reading through whatever materials I find. In SlickCMacroBestPractices.pdf, page 6, under "Debugging/tracing macros", the following text appears to be out-of-date:
Quote
Although there is not a Slick-C debugger, there are several tools you can use to debug/trace a running macro.

Maybe you could move any information from this document that is still useful into the up-to-date HTML documentation.

It's a bit late to do this now but it probably would be better to have this in the on-line help which gets updated much more frequently.

What do you mean by "online help"?

ok, I assumed that when warnerrs said "html docs" he meant the help file.  I keep pointing out the slickcmacrobestpractices.pdf to people because most people won't discover it by themselves.  Maybe the help menu could have a "Documentation folder" entry that opens the folder with all the pdfs.

Yeah, by html docs, I meant the docs you access from the help menu.
