Win32 B6: Unattractive scroll box
« on: October 21, 2014, 06:39:33 PM »
Toward the bottom of "Associate File Types" in Options, is a scroll box that shows all of the currently associated file extensions. It doesn't work very well. Some of the time it looks like this:

It's not tall enough to have arrows on the buttons and extra pixel litter gets stuck around the buttons (because the buttons bounce left and right over the text as you add and remove file types.) The fact that the bar is very small vertically also causes some other graphic issues when you do use the scroll buttons.

Other times it looks like this:

This happens when the width is within a certain range. If you add more types or remove them it reverts back looking like the first variation.

Unless it's an easy fix, I'd recommend just removing it. It's a nice feature to have, but it doesn't actually buy you much. I think having a clean interface is worth more.

I'll see if I can't get this looking better.  Thanks!
