RTM, Mac: Editing the menus removes them

Edit the _mdi_menu.
Append a new command to the end of "tools".
Save the change.


The SlickEdit application loses its top level menu  -no more "File Edit View etc...". Just blank.
Restarting SlickEdit fixes it, and the new menu item is present.
