Double-click any word with a non-character after (e.g. parens or colon, etc.) and it highlights that character as well. Clicking on the binocular icon to do a search also pulls in this extra character.

I just tried it on mine - 19.0.0.14 - win x64.  Not happening here.

Are you using something other than utf-8 or a specific language?

Should be utf-8. Working in C. A friend of mine who has SE 19.0.0.14 told me about it and I tried on my machine and reproduced it, so it's definitely an issue.

For example, if I double-click a funciton name in C which has a parenthesis right at the end of the name (no spaces), it highlights the function name and the paren. Then when I hit my key shortcut for find-in-files, or if I click on the binocular icon to do a find, the paren is included in the search text. My friend and I are both using Vim emulation, if that makes a difference.

Okay - I believe it's tied to VIM emulation.  I can reproduce in non-C files under VIM emulation.  I had to close & re-open slick after changing to VIM to make it happen.  After that, changing emulations affects the selection without closing & opening slick.

Slick selects the first non-identifier character after the word (paren, punctuation, space, etc.) when double-clicking.  I do NOT see this in the Visual Studio default emulation that I normally use.

That may save the slick team a couple of minutes.

This will be fixed on the hot fixes. Not sure when the first set of hot fixes will be out.

Not sure if this could be related, but I have a hunch it might. In the VIM emulation, when I press the key sequence 'y-i-w' (yank inner word) the program will only copy the first character of the word to the clipboard. It should copy the word under the cursor to the clipboard.
