SlickEdit V19 32 bit Window File Tab Docking
« on: December 08, 2014, 05:44:26 pm »
I can't seem to get the "File Tabs" to dock so its across the whole SlickEdit window above the tab groups. This worked in V18.  It always seems to want to create a new tab group it is in by it's self.

It works for me. I set the "dockable" flag and then drag it over the square that indicates docking at the top. It also seems to go there if I just set it to dockable and then tell it to dock.

I'm running Windows. You don't mention what OS you are running on.

Edit: I can't type/spell.

I've attached a screen shot with the appropriate indicator circled in red.

That worked, thanks. In V18 as soon as I enabled the File Tab it docked by its self. I saw the big X that moves with the File Tab but not the spot you needed to align it with. Now when I undock and dock it goes where I want it right away. The behavior seems different the 1st time versus later times. (by the way the subject line said 32 bit Window)
