I have SlickEdit 2012 (v17.0.3.0 64-bit)

Every now and then I use Export\Import option for SlickEdit settings.

However I notice that the additions to C++ Preprocessing macros are not preserved when exporting/importing the settings into SlickEdit. Is this a known issue? If yes, is there a workaround available?

Thanks
Pankaj

I found a workaround. I there is a better way, kindly let me know.

The workaround:
From the SLICKEDITCONFIG folder, backup usercpp.h file. And copy that to my new SLICKEDITCONFIG folder.
That is the file where all the C++/C preprocessor macros that I manually add are defined.

Right. And there is a new feature: per workspace preprocessing :)
See e.g. this posting for details. I guess it's documented in SEv19 since it's announced in the release notes.

pagupta:  We have added export/import capabilities for the C/C++ Preprocessing options for 19.0.2.

Thanks,

Does 19.0.2 mean SlickEdit 2014 ?

You can display the Help>About to figure out the version you are using. It shows the year (like SlickEdit 2014) you are using as well.
