B3 Vanishing floating tool windows

Tool windows in Beta 3 (Linux/x64) appear to be behaving as if "Hide when application is inactive" were checked in Options -> Tool Windows -> Options, regardless of the state of the checkbox. I don't think this was the case in B2.

Tool windows didn't disappear for me on Ubuntu unless I turned on the option for it. Are your running an X server? What Linux are you running on?

Yes, running X.org X11 server 1.16.3 on Fedora 21, using the KDE 4 desktop.

Reproduced. Appears to be an issue with KDE. We will look into this.

This doesn't look like a bug. KDE has an option for hiding tool windows which is on by default. See Hide utility windows for inactive application.

That would be odd, this does not happen with v19. I'll check it out more on Monday.

Confirmed that the vanishing behavior stopped after adjusting the KDE setting. I'm guess some property on the tool windows changed that caused KDE to start hiding them. Probably a good change but sure was confusing for me!

We did change our tool windows to have the correct window flag in v20. This allowed the KDE option to take effect.
