I was working on a column of macro calls and changing the name of the macro in column mode. I selected a five-character column (see attached #1) and typed "Large" to cause the text to be typed on all lines. But since there was a line that I didn't want filled in (see attached #2), I moved the mouse over the lone Large to double click it and remove it, and a small box popped up with some information about it (I don't remember what was in the box). I double clicked on the Large and hit Delete, and the contents of the box cleared but the box didn't go away (see attached #3).
I couldn't get the box to go away no matter what I did. If I scrolled the screen, the box would stay in its position and not move with the rest of the file. The only way to get rid of the box was to hit Undo until the Large text was restored.
