selective display button not working
« on: October 27, 2015, 08:58:15 PM »
Editing C source. I bring up the selective display dialog. Select "function headers". See the attached screen shot. Within the "function header comments" block, while "show" is selected, I can't usually clear the "documentation comments" box. What allows me to clear "documentation comments" is to select "other comments" or "show blank lines", then go back to clear "documentation comments".

This appears to be a limitation in the dialog. You must have either "Documentation comments" or "Other comments" checked. However, you can have both checked. That's why these aren't radio buttons.

Would this make more sense if there were two sets of radio buttons for documentation comments and other comments?

Documentation comments   (o) Show   O Collapse    O  Hide
Other comments                  O  Show   O Collapse   (o) Hide
[ ] Show blank lines

Good idea Dennis ! That would allow better, fine grained control.
