RC5: Long file, Home, End, Arrow-Down, odd behavior

I have a file that is 4096 lines long.

When I hit the End key, I am taken down past the end of the text into "la-la" land.

When I press Home, I am taken to the end of the text

When I am on the last line of the text and press Arrow-Down, it does nothing.
