So my project+environment has fairly fairly comprehensive `.editorconfig` files (http://editorconfig.org/), but SlickEdit doesn't seem to respect them.
Most modern editors either support .editorconfig natively, or have a plugin to support .editorconfig.
What's the state of this with SlickEdit? Doesn't seem to be any support built in, and I can't find anything about plugins.

I'm pretty sure that you are right: there is no support for editorconfig.

Okay. Well, I don't think I could get my team using SlickEdit without this. It would be a disaster >_<

It's definitely possible to add support for this. Our v21 todo list is pretty big already but we'll do our best to try to squeeze in support for this.
