Would like "case insensitive" list buffer
« on: March 09, 2007, 09:11:50 PM »
Hi,

I just purchased the linux version (11.0.2) of Visual SlickEdit.

I really like the Document->List Buffers feature, but it seems to sort it in a case-sensitive manner. Is there any way to get it sorted in a case insensitive manner? My Windows version (version 9) seems to sort the same list in a case insensitive manner.

I noticed that sellist.e has a call to sort_on_selection('-F I' /* _fpos_case */); which seems to imply that case insensitve sort should be used (unless this call isn't being used).

We rewrote that dialog for SlickEdit 2007, which was released on 3/14. You automatically qualify for a free upgrade. The new dialog sorts items case insensitively. In order to get the free upgrade, you must register your version 11 product.
