HTTPS Slickedit Website Very Basic
« on: February 29, 2016, 12:38:02 PM »
I've been seeing a rather simplified version of the SlickEdit website (https://www.slickedit.com/) for at least a couple weeks:

I was able to navigate around with it, so I didn't think a lot about it. Just now I happened to click on the home button and saw that there really is still a formatted home page. Apparently it's just that Chrome defaults to HTTPS and only the HTTP version of the SlickEdit home page is working correctly.

That's Chrome protecting you from penetrated websites by not showing you images when the https isn't actually secure.  Firefox does the same thing.  So does modern IE, as does the new Edge browser.
Pity that the SE homepage hasn't been set up to play nicely via https, kind of breaks the "Always use https" feature.
