v20: Empty box back again
« on: January 12, 2016, 09:57:49 PM »
The empty box popped up again.  This is the box that gives you information about a function when you hover over its prototype.  I was changing the name of a function prototype but while I was typing, the empty box popped up.  I guess the timing was just right because I can't seem to get it to happen again.  The box stayed up and wouldn't go away no matter what I did, until I renamed the prototype back to the old name.  Then the box showed the prototype for a second and went away.

I just saw the same thing. I was pasting a small chunk on the end of several lines: buffToChar(&msgPtr);

Each time I moved to a new line it tried to open list of auto completions. I hadn't given it time to fill the box in when I clicked somewhere else. The empty box was in front of everything. I opened a web browser and the white box was in front of it.

I was able to get it to go away by typing in some text and getting the auto completion list to pop up.

Edit: I'm also on Windows 7 64 bit, but I'm running SlickEdit 32 bit.
