SlickEdit 2013 and El Capitan (v. 10.11.2)
« on: January 19, 2016, 04:38:38 PM »
I've been using SlickEdit 2013 daily for two or three years, no problem. Great editor. After a lot of testing on another machine, I finally upgraded to OS El Capitan on my work Mac yesterday. However SE2013 now won't open. Crashes immediately. Saw a thread with a user on SE2015 suggesting to delete vslick.stu and vrestore.slk. When I delete these files, SE2013 does open but only for two or three seconds, then crashes again. Has anyone experienced this with El Capitan? Suggestions (in lieu of an upgrade)?

Extensive changes to OS X require an upgrade to SlickEdit v20.*

Although it looks as though your specific serial number has access to the upgrade in your Registered Products section at www.slickedit.com
