Perl Syntax Expansion Issue prevents inserting spaces at EOL?
« on: January 27, 2016, 06:39:01 am »
Version 20.0.1.3 on 64-bit Windows 7

In the following Perl example, if you place you cursor after just after the else, and press the space bar (in order to insert a comment), the cursor won't budge.  If I type another char, like the "#" for the comment, I can then insert a spaces.  Once or twice I got a pop-up about syntax expansion which I'm guessing is playing into this.

if ( $x )
{
   print;
}
else
{
   print;
}

I can reproduce this.  I'll try to get a fix in for the next hotfix.

Fixed, it will be in the next hotfix.  It was a problem with the handling for syntax expansion, so your guess was correct.   Thanks for the report.
