I have the following tool windows as tabs in the main window:
Projects, Build, Bookmarks, FTP, Search Results, Preview, References, Message List, Output
- Compile a file
- Select the Build window
- Right click on a function name in a child window and select "Go to definiton of xxx"
- Preview window is automatically selected in the main window and a child Preview window pops up
- Close child Preview window
- Go to step 2 above (lather, rinse, repeat)
If the above is done with a function name in a tab in the main SE window, the Preview window in the tabs is automatically selected but no child Preview window is opened. It's only when a function in a child window is done.
