Mini find too many highlights
« on: July 18, 2016, 06:45:03 pm »
Open a file.
Ctrl+F
<SPACE>
It finds a space, but it doesn't highlight all the spaces.
Ctrl+I (Incremental search) does.

Seems like minifind and incremental oughta do about the same thing in this case.

The mini-find is capped as it is marking up the entire document, maximum number of matches it will show is Tools > Options > Editing > Search > Mini window options > Maximum occurrence matches.   The incremental search command is effectively modal, and is only marking up the visible lines.
