minifind and Ctrl+F3
« on: July 18, 2016, 07:43:00 PM »
Open minifind.
Search for THIS
Click in the edit window.
Place the cursor on THAT.

Ctrl+F3
   Highlights THAT

Ctrl+F3 again
Finds the next occurrence of THAT

F3
BUG1: Finds the next occurrence of THIS

The Ctrl+F3 arguably should replace the minifind text with THAT

BUG2: Also, before pressing F3, Shift+Ctrl+F3 isn't consistent with Ctrl+F3
Ctrl+Shift+F3
Finds the next occurrence of THIS

BUG3: When WrapSearch is enabled in Minifind, F3 will wrap around to the top at the bottom, but Shift+F3 doesn't wrap back to the bottom from the top.

Rather than modifying any options in any open find form (mini or Tool), I think the easier thing to do is to just dismiss the Mini Find any time another search command is executed.

Bug 3 confirmed, that will be fixed in next beta release.
