Slick-C Stack doing Editor Init/Setup
« on: July 23, 2016, 04:11:42 am »
SlickEdit Pro 2016 (v21.0.0.2 64-bit) on Clean windows 7 laptop

Going through the Quickstart Setup on the Context Tagging and I got a C-Stack "Recursion too deep".  I deleted the "My SlickEdit Config" and it repeated.

It was not obvious how to capture the full stack trace ... so I just got a screenshot.

I don't think we will need the full stack trace for this one.

If you click on the debug window ('vs' caption), press Ctrl+C to copy all the contents. Also, when there is a Slick-C Stack, we append the contents of the stack in a file under the config directory (config-version-dir/logs/stack.log).

We will look into this

This will be fixed in the next beta.
