100% repeatable.
MacOS El Capitan (but observed similar behavior on Win7-64, perl project)

1) Perl project with 2 files (attached)
2) Repeat searching for "say" until mini-find moves on to next file in project
3) => Slick-C Stack generated (attached)

BTW: mini-find is one of my favorite new SE features in the last several releases!
