Global Aliases section says "Global aliases are stored in the file alias.als.xml"
There are probably other updates needed in the help due to the configuration file changes - I've not gone looking for them though :-)

Also the built-in aliases in find_builtin_directory_alias are not documented at all.

The built ins could appear on the Tools > Options > Editing > Global Aliases page itself - either as special entries in the alias list, or simply in the help text at the bottom of the page.

I only recently figured out there were built-in aliases ;D

They are nice to have but I wonder if we could figure out a way to have them stored in a .cfg.xml file. Then this would just work. Users could delete them and would see them. We will look into this.
