DEFS: Outline
« on: August 04, 2016, 07:18:19 pm »
Defs view, outline or not, doesn't work with VPJ files unless you change the document mode to XML.
The default document mode is VPJ of course.

Hm... well sometimes it does - as it just did for me when I opened another VPJ file, but I can't repro that now.

When it doesn't work, can toggle outline view on?

So far I'm unable to reproduce issues with .vpj files.

Defs is completely blank for VPJ files - with outview enabled or disabled.

See also the attached: I changed doc mode to XML, and defs populates.
But this also demonstrates another problem that frequently happens, but I don't have a solid repro.
Notice that defs is clipped - as if there are two columns and the first column is narrow.

This will fix itself if I resize defs a little wider.

I goofed with my test. I tested in on a beta 3 dev build and not the beta 2 installation. With the beta 2 installation it's blank. We will look into this.

Seems to be fixed in a beta 3 install
