Slickedit command line
« on: August 15, 2016, 08:38:25 PM »
The cmdline stays on top, hiding status text, most of the time now.
At the moment, I can't find a way to not show the cmd line.

Also, it isn't doing completions for partially entered macro names.

Partially entered commands stay in the cmd line after I hit ESC and go back to editing in a buffer.
Pressing ESC again lets me continue entering a command.
(This is nice, but different than it used to be).

It's only supposed to get stuck when it has focus or when there is no editor buffer. However, if a Slick-C stack happens at the wrong time, it can get stuck (or maybe you found a bug). Just exit and restart.

Can you give an example?

This has always been this way. I've taken advantage of this but also been burned by it. It's both good and bad.
