disable prompt for wrapped search/next
« on: August 18, 2016, 06:28:05 PM »
When using minifind I can un-check "Prompt Wrap" and then cycle through matches using Ctrl-G through the end of file to the beginning without a prompt; this is often convenient. Is this behavior available with the traditional Find tool? (ie, hitting Ctrl-F twice) Under beta3 the Find tool won't automatically wrap for any value of the "wrap at beginning/end" option (under Options->Editing->Search).

Regards,
Iker

Set "Wrap at beginning/end" to the third state. It's a tri-state checkbox.

I tried all three values: "on", "off" and "prompt every time" and I only managed to get the search to stop at the end of the file without a prompt. No setting for "wrap at beginning/end" let me cycle back to the top with Ctrl-G when searching with the Find tool.

Ah...I was thinking about doing a replace with wrapping and no prompting. That's seems to be supported.
