Color-coded search for strings in HTML
« on: August 23, 2016, 12:24:54 am »
Given this bit of HTML:

Quote
List</span><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";<EOL>
color:black'>

If I search for "color" with Color coding=String (find("color","LIPCS,,")), it finds "color" on the 2nd line.

If I search for "\R", it fails to find the embedded newline. (it won't find \r or \n either).

This works in Python with a triple-quoted string.

Works in C++ with an escaped newline in a string:
Quote
"quickly \
brown fox";
