I still find myself using NOTEPAD a lot for temporary things.
The primary reason is that it shows up in a separate window that I can put on a different monitor, and I can Alt+Tab to it.
Slick can do floating editor windows, but they don't show up in Alt+Tab as top level windows.
It would be great if they did.
At the same time, make them *not* participate in the Ctrl+Tab ring and make them not always on top of Slick - like the slick Calculator window - almost as if they were in a separate instance of Slick.
