B5 crash during find
« on: September 06, 2016, 10:19:10 PM »
In B5, using big-find window, searching in a CPP file Slick crashes everytime.
Seems to be whenever "Set multiple cursors" is set.
I'll upload a minidump.

dump isn't helping quite enough.

Can you give us a sample file and steps to reproduce? Maybe you can completely change the file if necessary. I would bet if you renamed the file to be blah.txt that it would still crash. It probably has nothing to do with the file type and everything to do with your specific search and the occurrences it's finding (length of match, number of occurrences, possibly seek position of match).

Thanks

I can't repro it now, but when I reported this I had it reproed several times.
Maybe if I can remember which file I was editing...

If I remember correctly though, it was a simple search, not even an RE.
I hadn't intended to do a set-multi-cursor search- that option was on because I had used it before.
This may have been my first single-file search after upgrading to B5.
