nosplit-insert-line doesn't work correctly in XML files?
« on: April 11, 2007, 09:36:15 pm »
Hi,

I just noticed something strange: When I invoke nosplit-insert-line in an XML file, it splits the line.

Example: tryme.xml:

<document|>
</document>

Invoke nosplit-insert-line. Result:

<document
     |>
</document>

This is wrong, isn't it? I expected what I get with other files, i.e.

<document>
    |
</document>

The behavior is corrected if I turn off the new XML Formatting "feature".

Yes, this is a bug.  We should have it fixed in the next service release.
