Duplicate Quick Search at bottom of context menu
« on: January 24, 2011, 07:03:19 PM »
A rather small change but makes life easier.

When right clicking on text, a context menu pops up with Quick Search at the very top.  The suggestion is to duplicate Quick Search at the bottom of the menu so that mouse movement is minimized if the menu doesn't have enough room to open from the cursor down.  In this case it opens from the cursor up so that the bottom item (Edit This Menu) is closest to the cursor.

I used the Edit This Menu function to duplicate it by hand, and I have to do that every time I upgrade.  It would be nice to see it there as a regular part of a good SlickEdit breakfast...   ;D

Right clicking brings up a context menu with Quick Search at the top.  But if the cursor is too far down the screen, the popup menu pops up with the cursor at the bottom of the menu.  It would be nice if Quick Search was duplicated at the bottom of the menu.

I have to set it up this way every time I upgrade SlickEdit, and that's getting old.

Another nice thing to have would be to duplicate a menu item so I don't have to copy and paste to add a duplicate (or close) item.
