More color coding keyword categories
« on: August 04, 2010, 05:58:24 pm »
I love color coding tokens and want more choices.  We have keywords, CS keywords, preprocessor, punctuation, lib symbols, operators, and user defined keywords.  My language isn't case sensitive, so I use "CS keywords" to highlight operators (+, -, *, /, etc.) because they don't have case.  Then I use the "operators" for something else.  I use the categories differently than the names, and the fixed names are confusing.  I'd also like to divide up my keywords into more categories.  Could we have an unlimited number of (or at least more) categories that we could name ourselves?

I could use a few more user defined token categories...
[ so I can color-code operators (e.g. logical, arithmetic, bitwise, relational, access, terminator...) ]
