When I am working in Windows, I would like to be able to configure SE to open new files by default with Unix line endings.

When I want to create a new file, I usually press Ctrl+O for the open dialog, navigate to the directory where I want to create the file, and type in a file name that does not exist. I try to remember to select the "Unix/Mac OS X (LF)", but sometimes forget.

If SE could be modified such that we can create new files in "Unix/Mac OS X (LF)" by default in Windows it would be useful.

Thanks,
Rob
