Want to master Slick quickly
« on: May 01, 2007, 02:47:18 pm »
All guys,
I am fresh man for slick edit tool, I find it these day, looks very cool, want to learn and master it now, before I developed some software by Visual stduio.

Where do I get some tutorial documents? if have some example step by step, it would be better.

Thanks,
DHw.

The SlickEdit Help system contains complete documentation. The contents of the Help system are the same as the contents of the PDF documents located in your /docs installation subdirectory, and also included are categorized lists of C and Slick-C® macro functions. To access the Help, from the SlickEdit main menu, click Help > Contents. You can also press F1 on any menu item or dialog to bring up the Help applicable to that topic.

To get started, I recommend reading the following topics in the Help:

* Introduction > How to Get the Most out of SlickEdit
* Quick Start - This provides step-by-step instructions for getting started.
* User Interface - To get familiar with SlickEdit's interface and learn about commands, key bindings, navigation, etc.

Best wishes,
Lisa
