Search results window not updated upon findNext
« on: December 05, 2016, 11:55:01 AM »
SlickEdit Pro 2016 (v21.0.0.12 64-bit)

Search for something with "List all occurrences" and "Incremental search".
Results appear in the search results window.
The cursor is on the next appearance of the search string (due to Incremental).
But the current line in the search results in line #1. This does not change upon recurring findNext.
The only way to get the search window to "get moving" is to clickclick on a line (or focus the keyboard and Enter). After this, the current line in the search window follows findNext and findPrev.

Deselecting "Incremental" solves the problem (and cripples Search...)

In "SlickEdit Pro 2015 (v20.0.3.0 64-bit)" the search window was always synced with findNext/Prev, even with Incremental.

How can I get the search window to sync with findNext/Prev with Incremental?

A fix for this was included in the latest hotfix for v21.0.1.  See post here for details: https://community.slickedit.com/index.php/topic,6567.0.html
